We filed back in March at the same time, I received my notice of assessment and refund last month and we have been waiting on my husbands. Logged into his CRA account today to an additional $2000 owing over what we had already anticipated.

He was medically released from the military last April and had to take his pension as he was less than 10 years in. It was all reinvested first to max out TFSA's then the remainder in RRSP's.

Anyway, I did our taxes via TurboTax like I do every year. When comparing what his assessment says versus everything I submitted it is all identical except for Federal Tax. The amount of Federal Tax owing as listed by TurboTax is $2000 less than what CRA has listed. Anyone know how this could be? TurboTax would calculate his Federal Tax owed based on the income amount submitted, and his income is the same on both platforms.
