I just picked up a 90 Accord 4 door 5 speed, and wass wondering if anyone else on here had one. Come spring time I intend to lower it 2 or so inches with springs, add an exhaust and intake, paint it and add wheels. I'm looking for opions on brands to buy and colours to paint the car, pictures would be much appreciated.
as do i for the time being. go to www.cb7tuner.com this forum will own you. its a whole board for 90-93 accords. everything you'll ever need to know. WHat modle is it?
ummm I think that the H22 is out for now, it came with the F22 I believe, which supposedly has 140hp anyways. I'm not sure which model it is, I'd have a look but its being painted and having body work sone now. If it helps any it is a 4 door 5 speed.
Ya know it was funny at first but the whole nawwws thig just took it too far, I dont mean engine swaps or anything just some little mods such as intake, exhaust, or lowering? It's not the best possible car to start with but its comfy doesnt't work bad to start with and will make an excellant winter beater when i buy something else.
90-91 accords all had the 125 horse F22. 92-93 accords LX and EX had the 125 horse F22 and the EX-R had the 140 horse F22. not sure what motor was in the SE modles.
good point. save you money and either do the suspension right out so it handles like a dream, or swap in the H22 and make it go like stink
ya that makes it a bit easier to read, I'm not talking about turning it into a crazy modded car just amking it handel a bit better and look a bit better. It was cheap and I'm alittle short on cash so it was perfect.
If you're going to lower it, don't just use drop springs, pickup some descent aftermarket struts for it as well. Koni, KYB, Tokico just to name a few.
I have a set of springs i will sell you on the car for about ummm not even 3 months, eibach sportlines, as Steve said get a good set of struts, not GR2's cause they sucked on my 94..
