finally, some tourque!
I assume it will still be using a 5-speed automatic. Honda needs to get with the times and develop a 6-speed automatic or a DSG system.
Nice! I wish offered that engine before they ruined the exterior though.
Well, with the new TSX and TL both growing in size, and the TL now being available with SH-AWD, this is essentially taking over the gap left from the previous generation TL. Yes, the new TL can come in only FWD, but it's quite a bit larger and heavier than the last generation, so this is essentially taking over the previous generation TL's place in the market.
I just don't get the current RL... not particularly luxurious, not a driver's car, not a lot of room in the back, not particularly attractive... they really missed the boat, there.
They made it uglier with the redesign too. They keep flip-flopping about developing a new V8 RWD range topper. Last word is that it's on again.
They would do well to give it more back seat room than an Accord.
Seriously, every time I get in a friend's RL I'm just like.. please don't make me sit in the back! Even my partner who is only 6' tall has issues sitting back there...
Well - average male height in the US is 5'9" (Canada is 5'8"), so you guys are a tad out of the norm. But they are a bit more compact in every way than it's competition.
Just an interesting tidbit - Japenese (men) average 5"7'. I thought they would be shorter (that's about on par with North Americans). The shortest average man? Mexicans average 5'2"...
How do you figure? Honda still makes it.
Heh, and I thought he was short at 6'!
is it the RL that's AWD? i couldn't see myself dropping money like that on a FWD asian car...that into 3 series money where its such a more balanced ride
Yep, the RL was the first model to get the SH-AWD system. The new TL has it now, too.
