While I was going to buy an AR for the range I am indifferent as well. I still get to shoot the C7 and sig a few times of year so I can still have my bang bang fun.

Yeah they used Nova Scotia as an excuse to tighten gun laws when in fact, no gun laws at all wouldn't have changed the situation in the slightest. Definitely hate to see legislation like this happen :(

That is a bullshit click baity title that cbc should be ashamed of imo. There are next to no details in the article that deal with that and the title is purely used for shock value. How is that supposed to help the situation?

It's CBC, they are a government funded liberal tabloid.

I'll make sure to tune into OAN for all my unbiased news from now on.

CBC has liberal leanings, but they usually don't go for National Enquirer style headlines to pull in clicks.

Looks like they slightly tweaked the headline as well

Indeed. Is now Police returned vehicle with human remains inside, families of N.S. shooting victims allege.

That's one beef I have with CBC - they'll change a headline or an article and keep the same link, essentially un-publishing the original.

    Hit a nerve?
This should really get you then, they are one of the biggest wastes of government money and should be completely defended.

I'm not sure what you mean in the first part of your post, but I agree. We should be defending the CBC at all costs.

Post from legitimate news sources and keep the conspiracy bullshit trolling you do out of it and it’s a lot easier to be taken seriously.

News used to be reporters, reporting Facts about what was happening around the world. Now it's people trying to push their opinion and social agenda it's sicking to see, on both sides, and I wish it would just go back to the what it used to be [IMG]

There are some good sources, and there are some good reporters at shitty outlets...but I generally agree.

I agree with you boingboing which is why I will ignore posts from you where you reference Fox News as a valid news source.

Unless I am looking to get a reaction out of someone I will NEVER reference Fox as a valid new source but please don't tell my die hard liberal cousin that on FB he will be heart broken if he finds out

    https://www.halifaxexaminer.ca/feat...and-supplies-drugs-in-portapique-and-economy/

Witness told police that mass murderer “builds fires and burns bodies, is a sexual predator, and supplies drugs in Portapique and Economy”

Today, a Nova Scotia judge ordered that some of the redactions in search warrant documents related to the RCMP’s investigation in the mass murders of April 18/19 be un-redacted.

This was in response to an application to the court by a media coalition that includes the Halifax Examiner.

    <snip>

The documents now confirm that GW had an uncle who was an RCMP officer.
Read all the newly un-redacted documents here.

I feel like if they didn't change their mind and go with an inquiry the provincial government would have paid the price next year when we vote.

    100% absolutely

Really surprised they reversed that decision but I’m glad. I think the whole scenario stinks to high heaven and I’ll be interested where it leads
