My wife just sent me the following email... Subject: you are... the daddy of one little boy registered for 'big kid' school. :yikes:
Wondering where the time went. A little apprehensive, but not much - he's a pretty social kid and pretty bright. The only thing we're a little worried about is attention span - he's a November baby, so he'll only be 4 when he starts.
Ours is a November kid too, soon going to have to decide when he should start school. Time sure does go by fast though! My parents always said that and I kinda laughed at them...
Ohhh!! Congrats!! I was proud on my son's first day and so happy for him. Then in the afternoon at home, I layed down and cried. It was rather weird. Just one of those parent things I guess.
I was sad yet excited the first day he wen to primary this week I have had to deal with the fact e now wheres adult pants
Im a November baby. I had to wait untill I was 5 years old to start. Then I turned 6 in November. When did they change it over to being 4 in grade primary?
In the last couple of years. Nova Scotia had a different starting schedule than the rest of the country so they changed it to bring it in line - makes things a lot easier for people who have to move around a lot with kids (military, for example).
I wish they would have done that before I started school. I would have graduated a year earlier! and actually have friends my age.
I graduated when I was 17.. going to University at that age was a big mistake.. Dec baby growing up in PEI FTL
Leanne, i graduated the same year as you.. you're only five months older than me................................ my sister started primary when we were living in England.. she turned 4 in August and was in grade primary the following month!
I meant when I was in school, all my girlfriends were youunger then me. For my 19th birthday I couldnt spend it with any of my own friends dt because they are all younger then me.
