Looking to get MS Office 2019 and I've noticed a ton of 3rd party license resellers. I assume that some are legit, and there are exponentially more scams out there. Does anyone know of a Canadian resellers? To clarify, I'm not looking for fake or pirated serial numbers, just a legit discount reseller. For example, softwarekeep.ca or cjs-cdkeys.com. No idea if they are legit or not. Anyone have any experience in this?
Found one guy on Facebook market place. He says you don’t pay until after it’s activated and gives you the code to enter into your microsoft account Page to start the download. I’m trying to figure out the scam. I go onto Microsoft’s own page, they Verify the code, and then you download it directly from microsoft and once that’s done, then you send him $40. Just trying to figure out if it is a scam, how they get you. Unless it’s something like a fake code that takes microsoft days or weeks to discover and invalidate.
1) because I fucking hate it 2) for the amount of time I’d use it on that computer I don’t need the newest version. Hell, I’d be fine with office 2007.
There used to be an autoinstaller floating around out there for 2007. I think one of the service packs for Win10 killed it though.
That's how I bought my Windows 10 years back on reddit. https://digitalchillmart.com/?s=office+2019&post_type=product But office 2019 currently out of stock. Check every few days and it usually will stock up. They buy them cheap from businesses and offices that bought too many copies and then sell them for like $5 more than they paid the offices. The offices that bought 50 to 100 too many just trying to recoup some coin during audits and pencil counting parts of the year
Clicked on link...see Visio 2019 there, didn't know it exisited. Hmmm, why am I still using 2013? I use online subscriptions for diagramming tools but I am curious, Visio always has a place in my heart
What I’m reading is that sometimes it’s 100% legit as you described. Other times the software might be purchased with stolen credit cards, or it could be OEM software and other times they are buying unused corporate licenses. All three of those could lead to the key being revolked
I guess so. I never looked into it much. The tech guy at my work suggested it to me and swore by it and its how I got my windows 10 key years ago. All I know is it worked out for me
Here’s the problem. On the website it shows this, but MS office for Mac doesn’t include half of those programs which makes me weary.
