People said the new mustang design would never happen either.

I don't know it kinda has the same thing goin on as the new mustang, bringing back the old with some new.

    I like the look.

That '69 Camaro front end makes me wet! I have always loved the 69's, and this retro concept version is just plain perfection in the design department. It just goes to show you how great the design of alot of the cars were back in the 60's, when they are now playing with the old design and modernising them with todays technology.

I'd still wrather have the original though, modernised a tad like this one instead of an all new retro concept.

that is a badass car, about time GM figured discontinuing them was stupid, especially after the new Stang was unveiled.

I'm thinking you either have very poor taste in classic automobiles, or you forgot about the 69 Camaro RS/SS completely.

Wow I read the title and was sceptical but damn that is a nice Camaro. Did I just say that??? Good to see GM revive it, they shit the bed in the 90's. I'd be ashamed to put the Camaro name on those cars...actually 80's too. Just like Ford shit the bed with the Mustang in the 80's and 90's...early 2000. Finally taking their executive heads out of their asses, good to see.

the GTO only brought back the name... it in no way resembles the original
ford started it all with the thunderbird and look what happend to it poor sales and it's on it's way to the chopping block, now theres the chrysler 300, ford GT, and soon to be shelby cobra...

the comaro will come back, and it will look like a late 60's model but no where near as ugly as those pictures...

as for the '05 mustang i love the look of it.. but i'm quite sure for just copied the design fron the GT500 in gone in 60sec. the upscale model even comes with wheels that are similar

The contracts to produce the safety systems for the "2007 Camaro" have allready been contracted out, I forget the company name. It's unknown exactly what it will look like or even if it will carry the camaro name.

Apparantly chev borrowed $40 million in no interest loans, half from Quebec and the other half from the federal goverment under the agreement that they would keep the production plants in Quebec open. Part of the agreement was that a Camaro/Firebird would not be produced outside of Quebec. The plants that used to produce them have been bulldozed, and building cars in Canada is hardly cost effective.

Not sure if this is true or not.

To the guy that said GM shit the bed on the 90+ camaros, your an idiot.

YEah. . .I wanna know too. . . which pic is a photo shopped dodge charger? cause I know that none of them are. . . . if it IS a photo shop dodge charger, then someone might as well of just drawn the whole car from scratch, cause there is nothnig in common at all.

Oh my fucking god damn eyes! They burn! What the fuck is that supposed to be?!?!?! Serious?!?!?! Someone should be shot.

And to the guy that said the retro thing started with ford and the thunderbird, how does that work? Were the new VW Bugs before the thunderbird? And what about the PT Cruiser? The Plymouth Prowler was DEFFINENTLY out before the new Thunderclucks.
