Not bad from the front and rear, you're right about the side.. proportions are all wrong. That interior looks nasty, though!

I like the Toyota but not a fan of the shape of the wheel wells. I'm not sure if it's just the angle or not but the back side of the wheel wells look more square, I don't really like that. Other then that it's a pretty damn nice lookin' truck!

    Hehe.

I will qualify my statement by saying that sport trucks are dumb because they reduce what you purchase a truck for in the first place: utility. That, in essence, makes them a pretty stupid idea except for poseurs.

I see your point completely but some people may want a sporty/ fast truck because they like the look and need a little more space(storage) then they can get in a car. A sport truck still has a box which can be used. It may not be a full size box but still has lots of useable space. I think that there is nothing wrong with them at all, it all depends on what the owner uses it for.

I also see your point, and I was merely stating from my own opinion. I'm sure they are useful enough to some, but the lowered suspension and reduced carrying capicity would steer me away if I needed a truck. Also I would only get a truck if I needed one, so I would get a useful truck at that...

i agree...sport trucks are kind of a stupid idea...Pat is right...a truck is a truck for a reason. No asshole in his right mind is gonna haul a load of lumber or gravel or something in the bed of his SRT-10. However the idea of a Viper motor an 6 speed in a pick up is pretty cool. just not all that useful

And I'm also merely stating my opinion as well. Just that some people may toss their BBQ on back, camping gear anything. A lot of things can't fit in a trunk or backseat of a car that could still be hauled on a sport truck.

I don't think I'd ever want one, but still think that some of them are pretty cool and would be lot's of fun.

There's already lots of those new Dakots here in Red Deer. I like them. As far as the mid-size market goes, they kill the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon.

I like the new GM's too but I don't really like the tail lights. Something about the back end of the box seems to get smaller or something, not sure how to explain it. They just have a nice big aggressive front end and small back.......I still like them.

if you want a dakota get the full 4-doors... i tried to sit in the back seat of a king cab and had to put the seat a head of me all the way forward just to fit in (although i am 6ft tall...)

I beg to differ on that one man. . . . I like them think its a bomb idea. Best of both worlds, a truck, and power to boot.

I mean, SRT-10, love it, and I'd still use it as a truck.
    Chevy Typhoon. . . well. . . lets not even go there! :D :D :D

Typhoon has 500lbs carrying/towing capicity. basically you can put 2 people in it and a weekend bag.
