I like this car, haven't owned it long but I am in the market for something new or almost new, all it really needs is a paint job, its faded, nearly no rust except that panel above the rear bumper, its dented in a bit, not sure how, I got it like that. Anyway, its a 92' Gti and heres what I know about it. -8 Valve engine -HOR 276 Deg cam -Diesel valve springs -Manual steering rack -Ported and polished head -bored out (not sure how much) -Bossal header -Full Borla Exhaust -K&N filter -Rabbit GTi close ratio tranny -Centerforce Dual Friction clutch -Neuspeed Adjustable shift kit -Lightened aluminum flywheel -Neuspeed sport springs 1.5" drop -Boge Turbo shocks -Full poly bushings and mounts -Adjustable in-cockpit brake proportioning valve -Aluminum pedals w/deadpedal -15" SEC 5-split spoke lightweight wheels w/nearly new Kuhmos. -Black Widow alarm. The car works great for an 8V.. It handles INCREDIBLE. The car was built for autoX so its no Cadillac, you can feel the engine idling cause of the poly mounts and the muffler resonates to much for an old guy like me. All the car needs is a paint job an adjustable cam gear and some sway bars, the sway bars and the adjustable cam gear went missing somewhere between owners and I had to retard the timing so it would start right. Like I said, theres no sway bars on the car, not even the factory ones and that makes the car pull a bit to the right under hard acceleration on the highway, but again, the car handles excellent With the timing bumped back to where it should be you would think the car is a 16V. I just had tie rod ends and ball joints on it over at Camerons Autowerks by Kevin Meisner. I can't really think of anything else to say. It runs great, sweet on fuel. Great potential. I have a loan I owe $3500 on so closest I can get to that the better. Anything less I can take the wheels off or something, but its gotta go. email@example.com ICQ# 26518034 or call at work from 8-5 mon to fri: 468 7399 Ask for Darren.
