    I spent too much.

    4 of these:

Most of my stuff is from a local company that makes amazing gear (Velocity) and he had a blow out sale. So for all of that stuff, I was just under $1000.

I forgot that most of my riding group bought these, so I did too:

This year will be my first year riding on the street.

    What I have so far.

What I still want / need

    And some type of overpant.

No new riding gear other than couple of new tshirts. Ordered some parts for the good old bike:

new break and clutch reservoir assembly
    new belt guard
    new air filter
    black braided break lines
one piece black steel ionized grips (installed)
New turn signals to remove the dogazz license plate holder.

I bought a really nice side mount for the license plate but now I am told they are illegal in Ontario... Don't know if I want to risk it and become a target by cops. They don't like Harley riders much.

I see lots of side mounts at the local cruise nights. I think what it comes down to is don't ride like a jackass and you wont be hassled. I'm going on season 4 with my yellow sport bike and I've never been bothered.

    Mine are velocity.

They're all probably made in the same factory overseas though.

Thanks for the heads up. I am also wieghing out the option of trading my bike in on a speed triple but I would guess with the amount of snow, I am still 2-3 months from a test drive

I was looking at the Daytona 675 as my next bike, but after just sitting on one, there's no way I could ride it for any amount of time. Torture rack.

If I was on the market for a new bike this would have been at the top of my list: 2013 HD CVO Breakout... 240 back tire, 1700cc... fucking monster.

Thinking about heading down to the states to buy another wr450 or ktm. Will probably get an older model and keep my Z another year. Looking for a new helmet for myself and the wife. Only got a tank of gas through the bike last year being so busy with work so hoping to get more in this year.

There were some smoking deals on helmets this winter. motorcyclegear.com was selling the JR RKT-201 for $9.99 a couple weeks ago.

Neither of those fit my head.

I think AGV will be my helmet of choice for many years to come.

Can anyone recommend a decent all round over pant?

I have these: http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/tekn...Fc5AMgod42YAbQ but they are really warm when you're not on the bike. I'm hoping the kevlar jeans will help with that.

My buddy is a Polaris dealer rep, if he can get a good enough price on the Victory Judge, I would consider it.
