Yep. Tunnels and bridges and lots of traffic changes.

Just installed the update. Might fire it up a little later. They need bigger cities and subways now.

The future is nigh, Mayors. Today we are announcing the SimCity Cities of Tomorrow expansion pack. On November 12, 2013, you will be able to take your current cities and transform them into future cities of tomorrow.

But what will cities look like 50 years from now? Better yet – how will they be constructed? Do you want to build a beautiful, clean technology-driven city that relies on the knowledge of the all-knowing Academy? Or maybe a city consumed by the gluttony and consumerism of the OmegaCo? Or maybe a little of both? How you decide to transform your tomorrow is all up to you.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be exploring what the future entails, covering everything from multi-level MegaTowers that will allow you build into the sky, additional sources of power to all-new forms of transportation. You’ll soon see how working with new technology will create new challenges for both your cities and your regions. Until then, check out our announce trailer to get taste of what’s to come. And then tell us: What you think your cities of tomorrow will look like?

I have no intentions of buying that DLC unless it makes the maps bigger.

Yeah the game is a write off sadly. Once your little map is full, it gets boring quickly.

They came out today and said larger cities won't be happening because their engine would require rewriting due to performance problems.

I just picked up Cities XL from the current Humble Weekly Sale for $1. I only played it for a few minutes this morning, but I'm hoping it will fill the void left by SimCity.

I've only played for a few minutes so far, but a game has to be pretty horrible to not be worth $1

I played it a while back and found that SimCity graphics/simulation set the bar too high
