We all knew it was going to happen, and since everyone bought it, EA is encouraged to keep making games full of DRM.
Hold on to your lunch pails, this could get a little weird.
I keep getting login is closed try again later, then it retries and tells me my info is not right...arrrrrgh

I couldn't get the game to launch at all, whether I tried the shortcut on the desktop, or from Origin. I ended up running Simcity Recovery in the start menu and after a few minutes up fixing whatever was wrong it works now. Still troubles logging into some of the servers, but at least the game launches now.
If the world were perfect, it wouldn't be.
It launches tomorrow in Europe and Friday in the UK, so I can't see it getting much better over the next few days as more people are trying to play. I can understand servers being Busy because of the amount of players, but it's annoying to log into a city to see that I've lost 1/3 of my population, and the last time it saved it was actually half an hour before I last quit.
I may check this out in a few months then when they have the launch bugs somewhat straightened out lol
People are pretty much lining up with pitchforks on the EA forums over the launch of this game![]()

Notice the 1.2 out of 5 stars? lol
The actual gameplay itself is great. I have no issues at all as far as the game is concerned. I just want the server issues resolved so I can actually play this game that I paid $70 for 3 days ago and have only been able to connect on the first day.

Glad I didn't buy it yet due to being busy...I think I will wait it out or pass altogether. It's too bad, game looked awesome.
The game is awesome once you get past the friggin' server problems. I notice that they've opened up a few more servers yesterday/today. Still couldn't get on, but at least they're obviously doing something.
Have you tried it today?
this is almost worst then the shitty Real Racing 3 app they put out that makes you wait an absurd amount of time to do things.
I've been able to connect to servers most of the time but once I'm there I can't start or load a city.
