You'd think I'd be used to getting a shot (since I get one once a month-ish for my b12)
but god damn, why does it make my whole arm ache for hours after???

I had to get 6 needles in my mouth during one trip to the dentist when I was younger. I was getting multiple fillings done at once. The first two went fine and froze those sections of my mouth. The 3rd section would not take the freezing and even after 3 needles I could still feel them drilling. The last part was okay though.

Needles don't bother me in the least

Mouth needles, I have found, do or dont suck depending on the person administering them. My dentist is amazing.. I feel barely any pain at all when she does them. Other dentists... not so much.

ughh.. I have to turn away. If I see them stick the needle in my arm I get lightheaded...

When I went for acupuncture on Wednesday, I had to close my eyes when we was sticking me.. but then when the needles were in, I couldn't help but look and think 'Oh my god, what have I done'

Certain medications can cause a change in saliva resulting in more cavities, etc, too.

I just had mine a few months ago, at 26 I was scared because I heard the horror stories, it wasn't too bad.

Filling cavaties is a walk in the park, if, you ensure your tooth is frozen properly prior to the drilling. If not.. my fuck thats the worst feeling ever.

I trust my dentist to ensure my tooth is frozen, not myself.

I have no fear of needles. I used to hate getting blood taken, then in July-August I had blood taken at least 20 times. I got used to it really fast.

do you do the B12 shot yourself or go to your doctor?

i do my own every 3 weeks in my thigh and have no aches afterward, when i did my upper arm i bruised, badly. so i switched and now i barely even feel it.

if you ever have medication in a pre-filled epi-pen device never, and i mean never, let them talk you into getting it done in your abdomen. the whole "it feels like a bee sting" is complete crap. it feels like they stabbed you and then held a lit cigar on top of it.
